The Target & Challenge: 

The customer is from Canada, the end customer wants to pack frozen and fresh pastas in plastic bag . 

Package requirement: 250-1000 grams in one back-sealed bag package. 

Bag sizes: L320*W250mm (same bag width but bag length adjustable)

Limited workshop height: 2.7 meters. 

Production capacity: Around 800kg-1 ton in one hour.

How We Did It (Solution): 

According to client’s package requirements and product details, we recommended the packaging solutions about model LD-520A with two slope conveyors to match the requirements. 

Finally, after discussion and future solution, the client confirmed the solution as below:

1. Model LD-520A main packer : To match the required bag width of 250mm. 

2. 10 heads 2.5L weighter: Equipped with timing hopper and non-stick with Teflon surface, to avoid the frozen fresh pastas from water and sticking on the surface.

3. Small support platform: Support the weighter: L1350xW1350xH773mm, because of the limited factory height of 2.7mm, the weigher should be placed down.   

4. Slope type feeding conveyor (two sets) : To transport the frozen pastas from floor to weigher top  and lift the pastas to packer hopper top after weighted automatically.

5. Finished product conveyor: To lift finished pasta bag packages from packers outlet automatically, to keep packer outlet working smoothly.

6. Weigher checker : To detect the finished bags with weighed pastas in the target weight range (preset well on the touch screen), and move out if not in the set-up target weight range automatically.

7. Metal detector: To detect whether there are metal on the finished package, to keep food safe.
