The Target & Challenge:

    The customer is from Colombia and the end customer wants to pack baby talcum powder in PET bottles.

    Package requirement: 65g, 90g, 105g, 200g, 300g, 350g, 550g and 630g bottle volume.

    There are two different bottle types, flat-shaped bottles and round-shaped bottles.

    The bottle and lid pictures and dimensions are listed in the below tabulation.

    Other requirements: Production capacity is not too large, 5-10 bottles per minute is enough.

    Labeling type: Single one side label is used.

    Also need to put the lids on the bottle mouth automatically, and then close the cap by machine.

How We Did It (Solution):

    According to the client's package requirements and product details, we recommended the packaging solutions for one head auger screw powder filling machine, equipped with a cap auto feeder, capping machine, and filling to match the requirements.

    Finally, after discussion and future solution, the client confirmed the solution as below:

    1. Auger screw feeding conveyor: To transport the baby talcum powder from the storage hopper to the auger screw metering machine hopper automatically.

    2. One head auger screw powder filling machine: To measure and fill the powder into the PET bottle one by one, equipped with an anti-dust device to keep the filling environment clean, as the baby talcum powder is fine and dry very much.

    3. Caps auto feeder: Vibration bowl to sort the lids, and then the robot arm feeder automatically puts the caps on the bottle mouth.

    4. Capping machine: Chain-type capping machine, to press the lids under the chain automatically.

    5. Labeling machine: Stick a single one-side label on the bottle one side, front side.

    6. Inkjet printer: To print production date, effective date, and batch number automatically (MFG, EXP, LOT).

    7. Collecting platform: To collect the finished bottles through the lifting belt one by one.
