    The Bosnian client needed to package 1 kilogram of mixed and finely ground milk powder in aluminum composite plastic bags. Their specific requirements were:

    - Filling Volume: 1 kg per bag

    - Capacity: 900–1200 bags per hour

    - Bag Type: Back-sealing with gusseted folding

    - Additional Requirement: Anti-leakage device to prevent powder spillage

    With these unique demands, the client sought a fully automated packaging line capable of forming, filling, and sealing bags with precision while also including features to ensure product leakage.

The Solution

    Based on the client's detailed requirements, Landpack's team recommended a fully integrated solution centered around the LD-520D packing machine. Here's a breakdown of the chosen solution:

    1. LD-520D Main Packer: 

    The LD-520D was selected for its ability to form, fill, seal, and cut bags automatically, meeting high production speeds. This machine can create back-sealing bags with gusseted folds up to a maximum size of 400 x 250 mm and features a user-friendly touch screen where the gusset folding function can be enabled or disabled as needed. This provides added flexibility for operators to control the machine with ease.

    2. 50L Servo-Driven Auger Screw Metering Machine:

    The auger screw metering system ensures that each bag receives a precise 1 kg measurement of milk powder. Equipped with an anti-leakage device, the system prevents any spillage during the filling process, maintaining the cleanliness and accuracy crucial for powdered milk products.

    3. Auger Screw Feeding Conveyor with 230L Hopper:

    The auger screw feeding conveyor lifts the milk powder from a large storage hopper directly to the metering machine, ensuring a continuous supply. With a 230L capacity and a flow rate of 5 cubic meters per hour, this conveyor system ensures an efficient and steady flow of product, minimizing manual handling.

    4. Finished Product Conveyor:

    The finished product conveyor automatically transfers the filled bags from the packaging machine's output, eliminating the need for manual bag arrangement and significantly reducing labor costs.

    5. Ribbon Date Printer:

    For traceability, a ribbon date printer was included to mark each bag with the production date, expiration date, and batch information. This device prints up to three lines of 45 characters, ensuring that the product meets regulatory requirements for traceability and quality control.
